The Electrical Apprenticeship Position
- This 24-month paid apprenticeship program provides hands-on training, industry-recognized qualifications, and direct exposure to Schneider Electric’s cutting-edge technologies.
- Apprentices will work alongside experienced engineers and field service experts, learning how to solve real-world technical challenges across various sectors, including power systems, automation, industrial machinery, and renewable energy.
- The program is specifically tailored for our Services Business Unit, which means that apprentices will be prepared to transition into Field Service Representative roles upon successful completion.
- These roles involve direct interaction with customers, frequent site visits, and delivering innovative solutions that drive Schneider Electric’s mission of sustainability and resilience.

Minimum Entry Qualification
To qualify for the 2026 Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Education:
A bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma in one of the following fields:
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Graduation Status:
- Must be a graduate of 2025 OR awaiting graduation within the next six months.
Academic Performance:
- Academic classification of 1st Class Honours (GPA 3.90 – 4.00) OR 2nd Class 2nd Division (GPA 3.70 – 3.89).
Work Experience:
- Relevant internship or industrial attachment experience in technical environments such as field service, maintenance, or technical support.
Additional Technical Skills (an advantage):
- Electrical Safety Certification
- PLC Programming
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks proficiency
- Knowledge of Renewable Energy Systems
- IoT or Smart Systems Training

Major Tasks
During the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and build expertise in various technical and customer-facing areas, including:
