SHE stands for Safety, Health, and Environment. As a SHE Intern, you’ll work closely with the SHE Lead (for Khanyisa & Anderbolt) to help implement and maintain effective safety systems, reduce risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive environmental responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Updating and maintaining SHE procedures and documentation
- Conducting and reviewing risk assessments, aspects & impacts
- Supporting incident investigations and root-cause analysis
- Communicating safety updates through meetings, notice boards, and digital screens
- Assisting with safety training planning and coordination
- Collecting and reporting SHE statistics and performance data
- Supporting audits, inspections, corrective actions, housekeeping, and first-aid readiness
- Tracking SHE actions and improvements
- Delivering two key SHE projects to build your skills and enhance site performance
- Conducting Contractor SHE Inductions

Eligibility & Requirements
This internship targets suitably qualified South African graduates. To be eligible, you need:
- A completed qualification in one of the following:

- Safety Management
- Occupational Health
- Environmental Management
- Environmental Science
- Diploma in Risk Management
- Preferred: Advanced qualification in Environmental Sustainability
- South African citizenship or eligibility to work in South Africa
- Willingness to work full-time, on-site at Anderbolt Factory (Boksburg, Gauteng) – no relocation support provided
