The company is offering an internship position as an electronic technician in the Western Cape, South Africa. The prospective individual is expected to perform the activities associated with this post. Here are some of the key performance targeted areas.

The Targeted Performance points

Assist in Circuit fabrication (soldering, kitting, component verification, etc.)
Support engineers and technicians in electronic hardware fabrication and assembly.
Support data collection and analysis for system improvements and reporting.
Assist in component procurement.
Support test and evaluation activities.
Assist with the manufacture of tooling and test items.
Set up, operation, and maintenance of test equipment.
Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM.
Adheres to and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with ISO standards for SHE/quality/environmental/, and energy.

The Necessary Qualifications you should have Post Requirements

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in prototyping & design of electronic hardware will be advantageous.
Experience in 3D printing, CNC routing, and other CNC applications is advantageous
High degree of responsibility and discipline.
Good planning and organizational abilities.

Basic knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) in the workplace.
Computer literacy, specifically MS Excel and MS Word.
A Code B driver’s license is advantageous.
