Work at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion
National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion: A peaceful, faith-filled place in Champion, Wisconsin, where you can serve pilgrims and support the mission of Our Lady. The Shrine is currently hiring for two roles. It’s a chance to work in a beautiful, spiritual setting with competitive pay and good benefits.
1. Full-Time Administrative Assistant
- What you’ll do: Answer phones and emails, handle mail, help pilgrims with requests, keep the office stocked, and help organize Shrine events and programs.
- What you need: High school diploma (associate degree + some experience is a plus), good with Microsoft Office, know a bit about the Shrine’s history, valid driver’s license, strong organization and people skills, ability to keep things confidential, and flexibility for occasional events.
- Perks: Full-time with benefits, part of the Diocese of Green Bay team.
2. Part-Time Sales Associate / Cashier
- What you’ll do: Help run the Gift Shop and Café, handle sales and money accurately, step in when the manager is away, keep track of inventory, and give friendly service to visitors.
- What you need: High school diploma or GED, customer service experience (retail is great), comfort with computers and cash registers, good communication and multitasking, and the ability to stay calm in a busy environment.
- Hours: 24 hours per week.
Both roles require you to support the Catholic mission of the Shrine and the Diocese of Green Bay, in accordance with Church teachings. As you take this position because of your qualifications, it will also be an opportunity for you to share your faith in action.
