Eligibility Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria to be considered for the Mercedes-Benz South Africa Bursary Programme:
- Must be a South African citizen.
 - Applicants residing in the Eastern Cape region will receive preference.
 - Children of MBSA employees will be given an added advantage during the selection process.
 - Current Grade 12 learners who meet the academic requirements.
 - First-year students enrolled in full-time studies at a recognized South African tertiary institution will also have an advantage.
 - Employees of Mercedes-Benz South Africa Group of Companies are not eligible to apply for this bursary
 - Students currently pursuing or intending to pursue studies in one of the following academic fields are encouraged to apply:
 
- Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Software Development
 - Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
 - Metrology
 - Analytical Chemistry / Chemical Engineering (BSc)
 - Mechatronics
 - Metallurgy
 - Finance, Accounting, or Economics
 - Supply Chain Management/Logistics
 - Human Kinetics and Ergonomics.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants will be evaluated based on their academic performance and potential to make meaningful contributions to the Mercedes-Benz South Africa team. The incumbents will benefit from an international working environment. The selection criteria include
- Grade 12 learners must have an overall average of 70% or higher, with at least 65% in mathematics and/or physical science (applicable to engineering-related studies).
 - Current Grade 12 students must submit their latest third-term results.
 - Tertiary students must provide their final matric certificate and the most recent full academic record.
 - Students currently enrolled at a tertiary level must have achieved a minimum average of 65% in their most recent semester.
 - Final-year academic results will be taken into consideration during the selection process for shortlisted candidates.
