The iCog-Labs Apprenticeship Program is open year-round, allowing students to apply whenever they feel ready. It is specifically created for undergraduate and graduate students from Addis Ababa University, other local universities, and international institutions who want to complement their academic knowledge with practical, work-based learning.

Eligibility Criteria
- The short answer: any motivated and willing student.
- iCog-Labs welcomes applications from students who are passionate about learning and innovation.
- However, due to the high number of applicants, certain academic and selection requirements apply.
- To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
It’s also important to note that iCog-Labs partners with more than 36 universities, and the program receives a large volume of applications—sometimes exceeding 500 per month. Because of this, not all applicants can be accepted immediately.
Application and Selection Process
Given the large number of applications, we are forced to adopt a rigorous selection process. After submitting your application, the iCog-Labs team carefully reviews all entries. Shortlisted candidates are contacted and invited to proceed to the final stages, which include:

- A technical qualification test
Due to the volume of applications, iCog-Labs is unable to send individual confirmation messages to every applicant. If you do not receive a response right away, it may mean your application is still under review or was not shortlisted. Only selected candidates are contacted for the next steps.
